We’re halfway through June and I’m only now realizing I never posted my reads for May. Normally I put this on Instagram, but I’ve learned the SEO ways and am putting it here first now!
I picked up The Last Necromancer by C.J. Archer, well, because it’s about a necromancer. Normally historical romance isn’t my thing, but I’m all about necromancy. I need to solve crimes with necromancy. Too bad her love interest is human (SPOILERS!). Good thing it’s more about the mystery than the romance.
Anyway, I planned on only reading one book because I needed to read a few books for work, but I loved The Last Necromancy so much that I promptly binged the next six books. I’m currently working on book 8, but duty called and I had to read two romances so I could edit the rest of the series. They aren’t listed here due to NDA, so I’m not counting them toward my May book total.
I can’t wait to finish off the series! Just need to finish my book for book club tomorrow (which funny enough is by the same author and I hadn’t realized until I started the book last week).
