As summer winds to an end, I wanted to announce the cool things I have going on this fall and school year.
First off, I’m teaching a new course series at Homeschool Connections for teens, that I got to develop and create all on my own. It’ll feature writing characters, with each four-week course focusing on a different kind of character. Encourage the youth in your life to take just one or all four, I’m so excited to be kicking this off. It’ll be a lot of fun!

I’m also continuing to teach the 12-week Fiction courses, with part 1 in fall and part 2 in spring. These are developed by Erin M. Brown, and the department has won multiple awards since I’ve been teaching them. This will be my third year teaching the live courses, and I’m so excited that I’m going to be teaching them again!

I really love teaching these courses. Editing and supporting authors and writers has been a passion (and job) of mine for a long time now, and I love being able to connect with future authors, encourage them to love their work, and give the tools they need to find success in their goals. I hope this year will be another one filled with adventure and wonderful students.
