Presenting my flash fiction from the prompt on Wednesday, August 2, 2023! I slide along the bookshelves as I follow the pull inside my gut. A name is calling to me, urgency in every throb of the pull. The magic of the universe stops me, and my arm shakes as I reach...

A bit late in posting, but here is my story for the prompt on July 26, 2023. Music captivated the crowd despite the bard setting her lyre down. Her singing cut through the roaring bonfire and the ocean splashing against the cliffside below, each word lulling her...

I hope you enjoy this week’s flash fiction! Never go out at night. Lock the doors. Shut and board the windows. Rub garlic along the door frames and windows. Wear the sacred cross at all times. Those were the rules his mother had always mentioned, always made him...

I’m really excited about this! For most, this isn’t anything major or big, but I haven’t managed to write daily since I got sick back in February. I’ve written, but not consistently, and often in bursts. But this time, I’ve written every...

I hope you enjoy today’s short story! Lucas rubbed the back of his neck as he stared at the blank document, interrupted only by a notification box in the bottom corner with a stream of messages from his editor. The manuscript was six months past due, and he...

A bit late, but here’s my take on last week’s Wednesday Words prompt! Lila turned up the static on her headgear, tipped her head back in her seat, and closed her eyes, desperate for a quick nap. She had about…twenty minutes before her commander called in...
