October Day 4 Challenges

I wrote one 50 word flash fiction with both prompts in it this time for Fyretober and Writetober.

Day 3: Walk in the Cemetery & Wound

I wait in the shadows of a forgotten mausoleum, inhaling the tantalizing aroma of an approaching open wound. Moonlight glistens on fall's colorful mulch, illuminating old tombstones and ominous statues. Distant leaves crunch beneath meandering feet. They're on a simple walk through the cemetery, oblivious of their fate. My lunch.
